The Lower Mainland Green Team joined forces with the North Delta Green Team (also known as the Cougar Creek Streamkeepers) last month at the Delta Nature Reserve to remove invasive plants and to plant native plants.

Garbage found in the park was also removed.

There were 26 volunteers in total and the majority, more than half, were new Canadians. Volunteers traveled from Delta, Surrey, Richmond, New Westminster, Vancouver and Burnaby to volunteer.
