Delta Health Classic set for June 15 at Tsawwassen Springs

Fundraiser golf tourney sponsored by Century Group

The Century Group Delta Health Classic is set to take place Thursday, June 15 at Tsawwassen Springs.

Now in its 18th year, the sold-out golf tournament is one of the Delta Hospital Foundation's biggest fundraising events, having raised $1.7 million to date. This year, 150 business and community leaders will tee off in their fiesta-themed attire for a fun day of golf in support of prostate and general cancer care at Delta Hospital.

This year marks the third year of Century Group's five-year title sponsor commitment.

Over the last 25 years, Century Group has donated over $1.8 million to Delta Hospital. The development company has supported capital campaigns, donated funds for priority medical equipment, including the CT scanner, and has made contributions towards Delta Hospital's Greatest Needs Fund.

"Giving back to the community is a huge part of who we are as a company," says Century Group president Sean Hodgins. "We continue to be proud of the work we do and are proud of the support we give to Delta Hospital."

As title sponsor, Century also brings an army of volunteers to support the tournament.

"We gratefully acknowledge the immense support we receive from Century Group. Their enthusiasm and sense of community is beyond compare," says Delta Hospital Foundation executive director Lisa Hoglund.

"We simply couldn't reach the same fundraising heights if it wasn't for them and the many generous businesses in our community that make this event shine for our hospital."
