Tsawwassen's local youth theatre troupe, Knockout Theatre, is gearing up for another live performance in the Boundary Bay Earthwise Garden.
The group will stage Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland July 14 to 16.
After a successful production of A Midsummer Night's Dream last July, Knockout Theatre and director Zoë Wessler have made the difficult decision to say goodbye to the Bard, and to trade iambic pentameter for Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.
The script has been adapted from Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, as well as the 1951 Disney movie. The show is bursting with crazy characters, stunning scenery, flamboyant costumes and enough fun for the whole family. From caterpillars to white rabbits, every moment of this interactive, mobile theatrical experience will be just your cup of tea.
The show will be performed on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15 at 1 and 6: 30 p.m. as well as on Monday, July 16 at 6: 30 p.m. Performances go rain or shine.
Seating is limited. To pre-purchase tickets, visit the Earthwise office or Mud Bay Wines or reserve tickets at 604-946-9828 or info@earthwiseso-ciety.bc.ca. There will be popcorn and refreshments available for purchase.
The Earthwise Garden is located at 6400-3rd Ave. For more information, visit www.earthwisesociety.bc.ca.
