Delta and the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen are teaming up to start a community book exchange.
Delta council this week gave the go-ahead for the installation and operation of book exchanges at four Tsawwassen parks - Grauer Park, Beach Grove Mini-Park, Pebble Hill Park and Diefenbaker Park.
The units will be provided and maintained by the Rotary.
The Tsawwassen units will be mounted on posts and secured to concrete bases similar to a park bench on a concrete pad.
The units will also include a door and brief description of the community book exchange network.
The club's operational responsibilities will include the maintenance of each unit and the management of the content.
