A DJ will be playing rock tunes from the ‘60s to ‘80s, says Ann Stirling, a member of the event’s organizing committee.

Dancing to rock ’n roll is “tons of fun” and partners aren’t required, she notes.

“It’s not ballroom dancing, it’s rock and roll, so you can get up and dance [without a partner],” says Stirling.

Dances will be held on the fourth Saturday most months, she notes.

The dance takes place tomorrow with doors opening at 7 p.m. and dancing from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at KinVillage Community Centre, 5430-10th Ave.

Tickets are $12 for KinVillage members and $14 for non-members. Tickets will be available at the door, cash only.

There will be a cash bar and free snacks.
