With the success of last year's event, Ladner Baptist Church will offer its second annual Family Fun Craft Day to serve families of individuals, of all ages, with varied physical, medical, mental, emotional or behavioral abilities or needs. With lots of help on hand and space to roam, there will be over 10 tables of crafts to choose from, treats, an interactive gym activity and even a community art project that will be on display when complete.

The event, set for Saturday, Feb. 7, aims to foster a welcoming, creative and accessible environment where people of all abilities can make art side by side with their parents, siblings, grandparents or friends.

It is geared to celebrate both Family Day and Valentine's Day and is a great way to meet other families and make new friends.

Family Fun Craft Day will run from 1 to 4 p.m. RSVP by Jan. 31 to 604-946-0141. The event is wheelchair accessible and admission is free. Ladner Baptist Church is at 5624 Ladner Trunk Rd.

Family Fun Craft Day is put on as part of the church's Connect Ministry, which reaches out to those with varied abilities and needs and celebrates the inclusion and diversity.
