All Saints Anglican Church hosts a Messy Church kick-off party this Saturday at 4 p.m. This free event welcomes "kids" of all ages for messy (often edible) crafts, stories, singing and a free family meal after the activities.

Offered once a month, Messy Church allows kids to make all kinds of mess and do the crafts that make many parents sigh at the thought of the clean up if they're done at home. This Saturday's kick-off party will feature some especially messy goings on both outside and inside the church.

All Saints is beginning renovation work to make the space more modern, accessible and userfriendly.

With an improved building, the church at the corner of Arthur Drive and Ladner Trunk Road hopes to reach out further to local families and provide more opportunities for making connections such as a toy library and craft days for all ages as well as continuing to offer a free meal once a month.
