The Hannah's Heroes Foundation held it's 3rd Annual Merry Wisher Golf Tournament May 31 at Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club in Richmond.
Vancouver Canucks Daniel and Henrik Sedin lent some start power to the tournament, which raised $17,000 for the foundation.
The Hannah's Heroes Foundation was established in 2007 to raise awareness and funds for pediatric brain cancer research.
It was founded in honour of Hannah Hatlen, a Tsawwassen youngster who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2005. She died a year later at the age of five.
All the proceeds from the golf tournament will go to the Child and Family Research Institute, which carries out pioneering research to help find a cure for pediatric brain tumours.
