For Tsawwassen resident Karen Megrian, knitting scarves is just something she can do to help raise money for Delta Hospital.

She said she stared knitting them for friends and family first.

"I thought maybe I could make them for charity," Megrian said.

She starting donating the scarves to the Delta Hospital gift shop to sell last year and she's made 24 in the past month.

"It's just a small little thing that I can do for the hospital," she said.

The Delta Hospital gift shop is run by the Delta Hospital Auxiliary and is one of the many ways the auxiliary raises funds.
