The Coquitlam Gogos are hosting an International Women's Day fundraiser at Heritage Woods Secondary tomorrow (Thursday, March 8).
The Glamma Gramma! fashion show will feature desserts, door prizes, a craft sale and more. Proceeds will go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign, which raises money for African grandmothers caring for children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Students and grandmothers will model clothes from Vive and Creekside Fashions.
Tickets are available in advance for $25 each. To buy a ticket, contact Linda at 604-931-2843 or Verna at 604-460-4644. Tickets are also available at Creekside Fashions in PoCo or Vive in Port Moody. As well, tickets will be available at the door on the night of the event.
