The sixth annual Transformation Arts Fair was held at Tsawwassen United Church last month. The gallery showcased 28 local artists. Creative arts facilitator Meg Neufeld ran an Open Studio time where guests created their own art.
There was a presentation by Tiana Kirkegaard and Becky Allen with their Special Olympics rhythmic gymnastics routine. They both will compete in the national Special Olympics Summer Games in Nova Scotia in August.
Art therapist and creative arts facilitator Lara McIntyre spoke on the Therapeutic Nature of Art. The weekend closed with a Jazz Vespers evening featuring musicians Michael Hart, Garth Bowen and Ben Appenheimer.
