Ladner's Tracy-Lynn Chernaske and Joe Hinks are tackling a Shakespeare classic with their latest Standing Room Only Theatre production.

The Tragedy of Macbeth runs from Nov. 6 to 8 and 13 to 15 at the Cambrian Hall in Vancouver.

Chernaske, who estimates about 25 people are working on the play, describes it as their biggest show yet.

She's the producer and set designer while Hinks is directing the play, which will include "choreographed fight scenes, special effects and some very explicit bewitchery."

Hinks describes the fight sequences as hectic and brutal.

"We've got a special effects team working on making those fights come to life," he says.

There will be two banks of audience seating with the action taking place in between. Hinks says they wanted the actors to be very close to the audience.
