With school giving way to vacation time, Delta's three public libraries are holding a Summer Reading Club kick-off event next week.

On Thursday, June 28 from 2 to 4 p.m., the Tsawwassen, Ladner Pioneer and George Mackie libraries will be the place for some fun activities.

It's also a perfect time to sign up for the Summer Reading Club.

This year's theme is: Strange...but True? Kids will receive a reading record, a bookmark and chances to win prizes throughout the summer.

Adults and teens are also invited to investigate some great reading during the summer as there's a book club for everyone.
