Photos: Demolition of former Ladner KFC building begins

Demolition of the former KFC building began in earnest Friday, April 13. The Corporation of Delta bought the parcel of land from Shato Holdings last summer and took possession earlier this year. The building is being torn down to make room for a new right-turn lane for Arthur Drive, which will allow traffic to turn more easily onto Ladner Trunk Road. There are also plans to expand Magee Park and improve the pedestrian walkway.
