Auxiliary gives Mountain View residents early Christmas gift

The Delta Hospital Auxiliary made a very special announcement during its annual Light the Way celebration Wednesday evening at Delta Hospital’s Mountain View Manor.

The Delta Hospital Auxiliary made a very special announcement during its annual Light the Way celebration Wednesday evening at Delta Hospital’s Mountain View Manor. Pam Glass, a spokesperson for residents of the extended care unit, unwrapped a giant Christmas present delivered by Santa Claus that announced the auxiliary is buying a state-of-the-art community bus for Mountain View Manor. The auxiliary is providing Fraser Health with $125,000 to purchase the vehicle. Every year auxiliary volunteers host Light the Way, which serves as a Christmas party for Mountain View residents.
