Tsawwassen Mills is celebrating its first Christmas with a special event for the whole family tomorrow.
The recently-opened mall at the Tsawwassen First Nation is holding its first "Embrace the Season" celebration with festive entertainment, refreshments, crafts and activities for the young and young at heart.
Holiday décor will be set up providing a welcoming scene as visitors can enjoy cups of hot cocoa and Christmas treats.
Young visitors can get crafty at a dedicated children's activities corner and design their own ornaments, which they can then take home and hang on the Christmas tree.
"We're very much looking forward to welcoming our guests this festive season to create a memorable family experience full of seasonal cheer," said Tsawwassen Mills director of marketing Kristina Shier. "We think everyone will enjoy our beautiful holiday décor."
Shier said there are elements that everyone can appreciate on the new décor set. There will also be interactive games and a Santa's mailbox for the little ones, and beautiful illuminated festive structures for the whole family to enjoy.
Festivities take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Promo Court near Entry 3.
