The store has relocated to Tsawwassen Commons after leaving its previous location at Trenant Park Square in Ladner.

It opened last weekend and will have a grand opening event from March 21 to 26.

It was a difficult decision to leave Ladner, said owner Elliott Graham, noting the store had been there for many years but needed to expand.

At just under 11,000 square feet, the new flagship store is double the size of the previous location, he said. Every department has expanded and the store will carry double the inventory, he added.

Graham, who lives in South Delta with his family, said he wants to get the message across the business is still locally owned and operated.

"Even though we're not in Trenant Park Square any more, we're still in South Delta," he said.

"We're still locally owned and operated and I hope that message gets across that by shopping here at Tsawwassen Commons at this location, you are shopping local, supporting local business."

Mark's is a casual and industrial apparel and footwear retailer with over 380 stores across Canada.
