It was an extremely busy Boxing Day for the new Tsawwassen Mills regional shopping mall. According to Ivanhoe Cambridge, the company behind the 1.2 million square foot mall development that opened this October, nearly 40,000 shoppers came through the doors Monday eagerly looking for deals.
Many popular stores saw lineups for the majority of the day included Michael Kors Outlet, Lululemon Outlet, adidas Outlet, and Champs. Meanwhile, work continues next door on the new Tsawwassen Commons shopping mall where several stores have already opened. The biggest among them, a “super centre” Walmart, is scheduled to open in late January.
