It’s a footwear retailer that continues to grow.
Earlier this year, Town Shoes Limited announced the opening of six new DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse locations in Canada by fall 2016. The new stores mark 10 new locations for the company this year, including a store opening Oct. 5 at Tsawwassen Mills.
Since launching in Canada in 2014, DSW's footprint will have grown to 23 stores by this fall, solidifying the retailer's national presence as a go-to for designer footwear at discount prices.
With stores averaging 20,000 square feet in size from Vancouver to Halifax, Canadians can select from over 22,000 pairs of designer and name brand shoes with everyday savings of up to 40 per cent off suggested retail prices, according to a news release, which notes brands include Kate Spade, Coach, Sam Edelman, Vince Camuto, BCBG, Cole Haan, Steve Madden, Nike, Converse and more.
"Since the launch of our Canadian stores, Canadian shoe lovers from coast to coast have marveled at the selection of designer items, the irresistible price point and most notably, the convenience," said Bruce Dinan, president and chief executive officer of Town Shoes Limited.
The Tsawwassen location will also have 1,500 square feet dedicated to women’s handbags from top brands like Cole Haan, Nicole Miller and Vince Camuto.
