A donation drive to help those affected by the B.C. wildfires is being organized by Ladner resident Marie Beer and her husband Poul for tomorrow between 4 and 6 p.m. in the Trenant Park Square parking lot.

Beer said they are hoping to collect enough donations of food and supplies to fill their F-150 and 5x10 utility trailer for a run up to the Kamloops evacuation centre this weekend.

They're looking for donations of:

- Any baby items (food, diapers, wipes)

- Specialized seniors items (Polident, denture cups, diapers)

- Gift cards (would be ideal as the recipients can choose what they need)

- Garbage bags

- Cellphone chargers and adapters

- Batteries (all kinds)

- Non-perishable food

- Canned food

- Hygiene items (deodorant, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste)

- New underwear and socks (all sizes, still in packets)

- Feminine hygiene products

- Sunblock, bug spray

- Blankets

- Pillows

- Pet supplies (food, bedding, bowls)
