The final number of slots for the proposed Delta casino has yet to be determined.

South Delta residents on Monday will get another chance to check out Gateway’s proposed hotel/casino complex.

The open house at the Tsawwassen Springs Clubhouse (5133 Springs Blvd.) will take place in two sessions – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.

Gateway plans another meeting sometime next month. Delta will hold its own public information meetings early next year as the application moves along.

The casino company hopes to build the new complex at the Delta Town and Country Inn site.

The company's draft proposal includes 600 slot machines and 24 gaming tables, but the B.C. Lottery Corporation says those numbers are flexible.

Slot machine revenue reportedly had consistent growth for the largest B.C. casinos over the past few years.

If approved, Gateway hopes to begin construction on the Delta casino next fall.
