This Tsawwassen home is one of 22 professionally renovated residences that will be open for viewing this Sunday as part of the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association’s Parade of Renovated Homes.

The Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association's Parade of Renovated Homes will showcase 22 professionally renovated homes across Metro Vancouver, including one in Tsawwassen.

The 21st edition of the annual self-guided tour takes place this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Not just for nosy neighbours, the Parade of Renovated Homes provides homeowners with an abundance of renovation inspiration. There is an incredible range of interior design trends and materials, advanced construction techniques, energy-saving features and much more.

Admission is by passport, available at each home for $10 per person. Children 17 and under are free. Passports can be purchased at any home, and then used for entry to the remaining homes.

Renovations include the redesign of a century-old home, the transformation of a 1970s home into a man's dream retreat, incredible kitchen makeovers, and a Craftsman-style home that was renovated to create more space and accessibility for the family.

The 22 homes are spread throughout the Lower Mainland, including ones in Burnaby, Surrey, Vancouver and the North Shore.

The Tsawwassen home, at 1110 Pacific Dr., was renovated by Kemp Construction Management Ltd.

The project started as a major kitchen, living room and family room renovation that involved a total redesign of the interior living space. The renovation opened up the middle of the house, creating a sun-filled spacious area.

The complete exterior was also replaced due to rot and insect infestation.
