Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley riders rolled through Ladner and Tsawwassen Friday, Sept. 28 on Day 2 of the epic nine-day, 900-kilometre journey to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. The team, made up of police officers, sheriffs, corrections and Canadian Border Serivces officers is riding to raise money for and awareness about pediatric cancer. During the tour through South Delta, the team visited Delta Secondary and South Park Elementary schools, as well as the Delta Police Department head quarters, the Ladner McDonald's and Thrifty Foods in Tsawwassen.
