Tuesday morning's wild weather wreaked some havoc in Boundary Bay.

High winds and surging waters caused a seawall to collapse at a residence on the south side of Seaview Road. The collapse, which occurred on private property, was isolated to one residence.

Corporation of Delta crews were on scene to stabilize the area before the next high tide, which was expected later in the afternoon.

Crews were in Boundary Bay and Beach Grove all morning monitoring the storm and dealing with a few areas of spot flooding.

Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning for the Lower Mainland Tuesday morning with 20 to 40 millimetres falling overnight and another 10 to 30 expected to fall. Winds were expected to reach 60 kilometres per hour.
