The Delta Police Department is seeking witnesses to a serious two-vehicle accident that closed Arthur Drive Monday morning.
Just after 7 a.m. police received a call of a crash at the Deltaport Way overpass.
DPD public affairs coordinator Cris Leykauf said a white Chevrolet was travelling southbound on Arthur Drive when it apparently crossed the centre line and collided with a Black Ford 150 head-on. The Ford was travelling northbound at the time of the collision.
Leykauf said the driver of the Chevy was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries while the driver of the Ford was not injured. The Chevy driver has since been released from hospital.
The DPD traffic section closed the area to traffic for most of the morning as it investigated.
