The voting deadline for the Ladner Village Scarecrow Contest has been extended until Oct 31.
Winners will be announced Tuesday, Nov. 1.
There are now over 30 participants involved in the contest.

Several Ladner Village merchants are having a spooktacular time leading up to Halloween with the Ladner Village Scarecrow Contest.
The contest is the brainchild of Angela’s Boutique and Billie’s Barbershop as a way to encourage residents to visit the merchants in the village and have some fun at Halloween.
Residents can come to the village, walk the streets, visit the merchants and vote for their favourite scarecrow. Ballots are available at Angela’s Boutique and Billie’s Barbershop. Voting closes on Oct. 25 with the contest winner announced on Oct. 26.
So far 11 merchants have scarecrows to judge: Blue Door Interiors, Elite Repeat, South Delta Heels Company, Angela’s Boutique, South Coast Casuals, FINDS Children’s Thrift Store, Billie’s Barbershop, Vinca’s Kitchen, Localz, Parsley, Sage & Thyme and Radiant Orthodontics.
