Most of the bats found in Delta are important for farming because they consume crop pests as a normal part of their diets. Bats are the main nighttime slayer of insects, consuming 100 to 600 bugs per hour. Different species of bats prefer different insects, from mosquitoes to crop insects. 2) Cultivate natural habitats such as ponds and wetlands.
3) Old wooden barns are perfect bat habitats. The wood is naturally worn, making it easy for bats to traverse.
