The column by Corry Anderson-Fennell enlightened me on an issue of which I'd had no awareness previously: long distance animal transport and the millions of animals that suffer and die on the road in Canada due to our archaic regulations. It's absolutely shocking.
So I am petitioning the Ministry of Agriculture to change these rules and have posted it on change.org if anyone would like to join me in the interest of the animals.
