Backed by the stellar goaltending of Cole Hendy and stout defensive play, the South Delta Hurricanes served notice defence does win championships.

In the highly competitive Bantam "C" Division, the Hurricanes capped an impressive run with a 3-1 win over the Thunderbirds to become Party In Da House Tournament champions.

They now looked forward to representing South Delta in the upcoming Delta Cup against North Delta.

The Hurricanes received goals from pesky fowards John Morrow, Rowan Childs and Cameron Ratzlaff.

The remainder of the hard working and talented team is comprised of Quinn Cole, Hardesh Rakkar, Denver Fatt, Jarvis Dashkewytch, Kyle Ainge, Cody Johnstone, Nolan McLeod, Spencer Gulbrandsen, Alexander Luteijn, William Bancroft, Harmen Kuhn-Kuhn, Adam Chan, Gursagar Brar and Henry McPhie.

The Hurricanes are coached by Rick Morrow, Cameron Bancroft, Chad McLeod, Mike McPhie and Brad Sherwin. They are managed by Michelle Luteijn.
