Residents in the 1300-block of Farrell Avenue are being allowed to return home as police continue to investigate a suspicious package that was found in the Beach Grove neighbourhood of Tsawwassen.

Delta police spokesperson Const. Ciaran Feenan said police received a call about a suspicious package at about 2:45 p.m. Monday. Residents in the area were evacuated as a precaution while the RCMP bomb unit was called in.

Evacuated residents are now being allowed to return to their homes.
