South Deltans can pay respect to veterans at a Remembrance Day parade and ceremony in Ladner on Sunday.

The parade will commence at 10:20 a.m. from the Ladner Legion (which is organizing the parade and ceremony) at 4896 Delta St. It will travel to the cenotaph at Memorial Park for a 10:45 a.m. ceremony.

The parade marching list includes a colour party from the Legion, the Delta Police Pipe Band, Delta police, veterans, military police, cadets and other groups.

The ceremony will include the national anthem, a reading of the poem In Flanders Fields by a Delta Secondary student, two minutes of silence and wreath laying.

Jim Ingram will narrate the service. Major Rev. Jim Short will be the chaplain.

Following the ceremony, veterans and adults are invited to attend the Legion.
