A trio of holiday events kicked off the Christmas season in Ladner Village over the weekend. Friday night featured the Ladner Business Association's annual tree lighting ceremony and children's parade, followed by the carol ships procession from Westham Island to Ladner Harbour, a local Christmas tradition for more than 40 years.
