Two people were arrested over the weekend after getting caught breaking and entering.
At around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, police were called to the 4700-block of 66th Street in Ladner after a woman reported hearing someone breaking into her home.
Officers immediately set up a containment boundary around the residence and arrested a 59-year-old man as he left through the back door. After searching the area, investigators also arrested a 55-year-old woman waiting in a nearby car with the engine running. Officers later determined that the car was stolen.
Both suspects were taken back to police headquarters and held for court.
Charges of breaking and entering and possession of stolen property are pending.
