Lisa and Duncan Cowen's romantic photo submission is from a treasured trip to Hawaii during Christmas holidays 2001. It was an amazing trip and
every time the couple glances at the photo it reminds them of a wonderful adventure on a magical island.
Kathleen and Kim Carswell have been married for 22 years and have two wonderful children. This photo was taken on one of the many family trips to
Sun Peaks where the kids would ski/board all day and the parents would head off on their trusty cross-country skis and explore the trails.
This photo of Sylvia Joyce and her husband was taken three years ago on their golden wedding anniversary. Their three sons arranged for the Royal
Yacht in Vancouver to take family and friends on a trip up Indian Arm. With a meal on board, music and more, it was a very special day for the
couple.
It's not the photo that's special, it's the man... Jennifer Sim-Chisholm says when she was 17 she thought Darren Chisholm was the guy for her,
and every year she says she falls more madly in love with him. Twenty-one years later and she says they are still passionately in love.
This photo is of Chris and Shauna Dunnett on the dock at Sturdies Bay on Galiano Island last September. It was a perfect ending to a very sad day
- they were there for a memorial service. At the end of the day while they were waiting for the ferry, the sunset was just right and Chris put
his arm around Shauna.
Diane Chubb got engaged to husband Jamie in Mexico in 2004. As he got down on one knee to pop the big question, his sandals were nearly taken out
to sea. The couple still laughs about that to this day. They love going back to Mexico to enjoy the sunshine and drink cold Coronas on the beach.
Fourteen years and still going strong for Tom Roche and Naz Dean. Through thick and thin they are each other's best friend.
Jolene Prak says her husband David is everything you would want in a Valentine. He's a caring, loving father to their two kids, Ella and Noah.
They have been together for 12 years and married for six of them. They love being silly together and making each other laugh after a long day.
Laura Wasylyshen says the photo is special to her because her sweetheart had just proposed less than two weeks before and because it was her
birthday. She calls it her "engagement-birthday romantic photo," which was snapped last month.
Peter Leaf and wife Sonja Whitehead are shown enjoying a "romantic moment" on the Emerald Princess as they cruise the U.S. Virgin Islands. The
couple has much to celebrate - they have been married for 30 years and lived in Tsawwassen for 40.
Chelsea Jokisch says this photo is special to her and her husband because it is one of the last taken of them before becoming a family of three.
It captures a very happy and tranquil time for the couple.
July 31, 2011 was a very special day for Glen and Kim Statham as they became grandparents to their beautiful granddaughter.
Rachael Mattei and Danny Bakehouse say when they're together the world around them disappears and everything becomes perfect.
