The New Westminster Council of Women has been working to improve the quality of life for women, families and communities in the Royal City since 1898. It meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Today’s speaker is Heidi Clarkson from Impact Parkinson’s. Meeting is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 815 Kennedy St., second floor meeting room. Free. A small donation toward the cost of light refreshments is appreciated.
