North Van Arts officially launched its cultural mapping initiative on Thursday, March 12 at the Polygon Gallery. Arts and culture groups from across the North Shore gathered to witness the presentation of the North Shore Culture Compass, a free online map that visualizes the dynamic cultural landscape of the North Shore. The site features key information about points of interest connecting locals and tourists with stories of our heritage, museums, natural landmarks, live performances, public art, exhibits and plenty more. The site is available on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. During this time of social distancing, the North Shore Culture Compass can also help people explore works of public art.
