LETTER: It's time for us to start the 7 p.m. cheer again

Dear Editor: Why haven’t we restarted the 7 p.m. health-care workers support [cheer]? Let’s start this Friday night, my neighbourhood has bagpipe band players. Sing, clap your hands, play the bagpipes and above all show support.

Dear Editor:

Why haven’t we restarted the 7 p.m. health-care workers support [cheer]?

Let’s start this Friday night, my neighbourhood has bagpipe band players.

Sing, clap your hands, play the bagpipes and above all show support. We did it in spring when case numbers were lower, why aren’t we doing it now?

These nurses, doctors, respiratory technicians, care aides and so many more are struggling. Some have had COVID due to their dedicated work, more have family pressures, some are truly worried as COVID numbers increase.
