Wesbrook Village is the newest residential community on the Point Grey peninsula on Vancouver's Westside. With approx. 3,800 residents, and plans to expand to 12,500, Wesbrook features REAP Gold standard buildings, parks, trails, shops and services, along with the promise of a healthy, active lifestyle where everything is conveniently located just a few minutes from your doorstep.

Wesbrook Village welcomes visitors who come for the afternoon and residents who stay. Here are five of the many reasons to put Wesbrook Village on your "bucket list."

1.     Parks and Trails

Bordering Pacific Spirit Regional Park with its 763 hectares of forest, Wesbrook  also includes four smaller parks with playgrounds within its boundaries. It's a great place to walk, hike, bike, or play.

2.     Seasonal and Drop-in Events

"We offer over 200 events throughout the year," says Christine Chan, Director of Marketing with Wesbrook Village, "from Halloween trick-or-treating to seven foot balloon sculptures at Christmas, free running or walking sessions with the Running Room, leprechaun hunts, or a test of general knowledge at the BierCraft Restaurant Trivia Night. The whole family is covered."

3.     The Hot Box Yoga

The Hot Box Yoga will get you bending over backwards to enjoy the modern yoga and wellness environment the studio offers. With over 11 options of classes to choose from at the Wesbrook Village location, there is sure to be a class suitable for everybody to enjoy.

4.     Eat, drink, and shop

With more than 25 shops and services, Wesbrook Village is home to an eclectic range of retail therapy in addition to cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops.

While visiting is fun, Wesbrook Village also features award-winning designer residences and landscaping created with the environment in mind, such as water efficient irrigation systems and drought resistant plants. A “Green Depot” at the Wesbrook Community Centre also provides free household item recycling for residents.

"We're open to everyone," Christine says. "Come and enjoy all our shops, parks, events, residences, and community centre."
