It goes without saying that 2020 has been a year unlike almost any other – and one we won’t soon forget.

Despite the many challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, many local nonprofits have continued to serve community members in a variety of ways, including food initiatives or online programs.

Since 1996, the Record has dedicated space in the newspaper each holiday season to highlight some of the local nonprofits that help out on a variety of fronts in the city – and to connect them to community members who may be able lend a helping hand. The annual Guide to Giving will return in December – highlighting some of those organizations.

To be included in this year’s Guide to Giving, please describe (briefly): what does your non-profit do?; what is on your Christmas list?; has your organization had any specific COVID-related impacts or projects?; and what is your organization’s contact information. Please email details to reporter Theresa McManus at tmcmanus@royalcityrecord.com by 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30.
