One of Steveston’s popular pho restaurants has closed its doors.
Xyclo Bistro, a Vietnamese restaurant at Bayview Quay – on the corner of Second Avenue and Bayview Street – made the announcement earlier this week.
Only last summer the restaurant had moved from Moncton Street to accommodate a growing customer base.
The Richmond News has reached out to the restaurant owners to ask why they closed.
Villagers took to Facebook to express their sentiments, with Andrea Japandrea commenting, “So sad to hear this. One of my favourite restaurants in Steveston.
While Sue Thornley said, “We are so sad to see you go. Thank you for all the great food you fed us.”
And Hilarie McMurray asked owner Cindy Nguyen if she was considering re-opening in a smaller space as her “food and service are so great.”
