A Taiwanese fried chicken revealed its third location will open inside Richmond’s Aberdeen Centre Mall food court.

J&G Fried Chicken, originally a street food from Taichung in Taiwan, operates nearly 200 stores in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

Their first North American location was opened at Burnaby’s Crystal Mall in 2018 and its second on Robson Street in Vancouver.

The menu includes their signature popcorn chicken, chicken cutlet and chicken wings.

There are also unique food items such as chicken knee cartilage, deep fried squid balls and deep fried king oyster mushrooms.

J&G told the Richmond News that the opening date has yet to be set due to COVID-19, but will have a better idea in the coming weeks.
