This year’s Sun Festival will include a classic car show in Winskill Park.

Antiques will be the name of the game at the South Delta Recreation Centre during Sunday and Monday of Tsawwassen Sun Festival weekend.

There will be a wide range of items at the 39th annual antique fair, says coordinator Malcolm Johnston.

"You name it, we have it," he says.

He lists Dinky Toys (miniature die-cast vehicles), China, stamps and coins, jewelry, vintage dolls and art as some of the wares collectors could find.

He expects approximately 60 dealers to be in attendance at the fair. Dealers will travel to Tsawwassen from around B.C. and Alberta, he adds.

Johnston notes the event at Sun Fest is the longest running antique show in the province.

The antique fair runs Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the South Delta Recreation Centre, 1720-56th St.

Admission is $5.

Admission costs go towards helping fund the Sun Festival, Johnston says.

Festival-goers will also be able to check out items from market place vendors at Winskill Park on Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
