The largest waterslide of its kind in Western Canada will open to the public this weekend at Big Splash Water Park in Tsawwassen.

Boomerango promises an intense thrill as guests plummet down a vertical wall that creates a sense of weightlessness.

The first 100 sliders to ride Boomerango on Saturday will receive an official Big Splash boomerang.

In celebration of the ride’s opening, the park will have an array of Boomerango-themed culinary options throughout the weekend, including Boomerango milkshakes and burgers, and Boomerango cocktails for adults.
