Delta throwback: Lloyd's shoe shop

The above Delta Optimist file photo from 1973 shows Lloyd Taylor at his shoe repair shop in Ladner.

He was son-in-law of Ted Taylor, who ran a harness shop for years, and the two went into partnership in 1946.

Lloyd went on to operate his shoe shop which evolved from the original harness shop. At the time the 1973 story was published, he had been at the same location for 27 years.
