Earth Day photo winners announced

Delta council recognized the talents of youth and adult amateur photographers at the April 29 th council meeting. Mayor George Harvie presented certificates and small gifts to winners of Delta’s 11 th annual Earth Day photo contest.

Delta council recognized the talents of youth and adult amateur photographers at the April 29th council meeting.

Mayor George Harvie presented certificates and small gifts to winners of Delta’s 11th annual Earth Day photo contest.

Harvie said Delta received 152 contest submissions.

The winners included: youth category (Luke Logan, first, Kai Schierbecker, second, Ava Schulte, third); teen category (Michael Bak, first, Eleanor Greenhow, second, Taylor Griffiths, third); adult category (Tina Doughty, first, Terry Carr, second, Sandra Jones, third); fan favourite (Christine Gaio) and grand prize winner (Norman Schneider).
