.The Delta Photo Club meets Wednesday 7:15 -9:30 pm at the KinVillage Recreation Centre, Tsawwassen. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome. www.deltaphotoclub. com.

.Join the Delta History Hunters on Thursday, April 23 for a relaxing history hunt where we will walk, talk and explore our way through Delta's local history. Please meet at 10:15am at the Boundary Bay dike entrance (the bottom of 72nd St.). After a brief walk and discussion we will head over to Wellbrook Winery for a short site tour, an overview of the farm's history, and a wine and juice tasting. Delta Museum Archives Society's members are eligible to attend programs free of charge. Memberships will be available on site.

.Canadian Mental Health Association Vancouver-Fraser offers a Depression/Bi-Polar Support Group in Delta for individuals with depression/bi-polar or experiencing symptoms. Meetings are on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 7 -8:45 p.m. Next meeting takes place on Monday, April 27 in Ladner. Knowing your rights as a patient is an important part of this process. Come to this informative program presented by Dying with Dignity Canada.

.The Point Roberts Yacht Club (PRYC) will hold its annual Flag Raising

Ceremony, Blessing of the Fleet and Sail Past Salute on Saturday, May 2 at the Point Roberts Marina to officially open the cruising season. The public is invited watch the event and get involved in our club. The flag raising ceremony starts at 12:30 p.m. and the sail past salute will start on the water at 2 p.m.

Fund Raisers

.Marine artist, John Horton will be giving a presentation on "The Fraser River, the last 10,000 years" on Friday, April 24 at 7pm at the Sundance Pub (upstairs) 6574 Ladner Trunk Road. .To celebrate Earth Day, the Burns Bog Conservation Society is hosting an annual Pilgrimage walk through the beautiful Delta Nature Reserve. Date: Sunday, April 26, 1-4 p.m. at The Delta Nature Reserve (outside Planet Ice. Delta) 10388 Nordel Court.

.Rodeo Fun Night at Ladner Elementary, Friday, May 8 from 5 to 8pm. Carnival games, bake walk and barbecue provided by
