Canadian Mental Health Association Vancouver -Fraser offers a Depression/Bi-Polar Support Group in South Delta for individuals with depression/bi-polar or experiencing symptoms. Meetings are on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 7 -8:45 p.m. Next meeting is on Monday, June 8. Please call the Delta office at 604-943-1878 to register for your first meeting.

The Tsawwassen Shrine Club's 46th annual salmon barbecue takes place Sunday, June 7 at Ladner Harbour Park at noon. Price is $12 per person.

Once again, music will fill the air at the 11th annual Ladner Bandfest taking place at Memorial Park in Ladner on Saturday/Sunday, June 6 7. This year, there will be 23 amateur adult concert bands presenting continuous 40 minute concerts on two stages throughout the weekend between 10 and 6 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an old-fashioned weekend of band music in the park.
