Lions Club supports Point Roberts food bank

The Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions Club recently delivered a cheque for $2,000, to the Point Roberts Food Bank to help ease the hardship from the forced isolation of Point Roberts’ residents.

The Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions Club recently delivered a cheque for $2,000, to the Point Roberts Food Bank to help ease the hardship from the forced isolation of Point Roberts’ residents.

Henry Rosenthal director of the food bank, makes weekly trips to Thrifty Foods and Save-On-Foods to provide supplies for the food bank.

The Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions Club is only one of two Lions Clubs worldwide that serves communities in two countries.
