South Delta Meals on Wheels is delighted to report that Maurice Newby was elected president at their annual general meeting last month.
Newby, who takes the reins from Margaret ‘Miggs’ Sawchuk, has held the role in previous years, thanked her for her excellent leadership as president.
He said he appreciates the commitment of the South Delta community to the organization and wants to let people know that South Delta Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers to deliver meals and also for volunteers to participate at the board level.
