Virtual Trivia Night returns this Friday

Building on the success of its first ever online event, BC & Alberta Guide Dogs is holding its second Virtual Trivia Night on Friday, May 15.

The organization would like to invite the public to kick off their long weekend with a fun game that also helps raise much needed funds to provide life-changing Guide Dogs, Autism Service Dogs and PTSD Service Dogs to those in need.

Restrictions caused by COVID-19 have prevented BC & Alberta Guide Dogs from holding in-person fundraising events, so the organization has focused its efforts on online initiatives.

“Over 350 players joined in the live trivia game last month,” said Joni Wright, Director of Development and Communications at BC & Alberta Guide Dogs. “We had people join us from all over Canada and the U.S. and we had a blast!”

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased online at www.bcandalbertaguidedogs.com.

The game starts at 6 p.m. Pacific Time (7 p.m. Alberta Mountain Time), so players need to plan their start time based on their location.

Virtual Trivia Night is generously sponsored by Ledcor Group.
